Commodores are considered Benefactors of the Society and will receive a membership card showing their rank and giving them a 10% discount on all Society’s admission fees, usage fees and list price of Society store items. They will also receive a membership certificate (showing their rank and suitable for framing) as well as access to the Society’s monthly online newsletter, “Wreck Diver.” They will also receive, when it is in place, have access to the Society’s online library.
Patches for the rank of Commodore will show the rank and the appropriate membership year.
Although the benefits for Commodores are the same as for Lt. Commanders, Commanders and Captains, Commodores get the satisfaction of knowing their contribution is more beneficial to the Society, and, like all levels of membership, the Commodore level is open to anyone.
