Lieutenants are considered Supporters of the Sea Research Society and as such will receive the standard membership patch, a membership card showing the members rank and giving them a 10% discount on all Society’s admission fees, usage fees and list price of Society store items. They will also receive a membership certificate (showing their rank and suitable for framing) and access to the Society’s monthly online newsletter, Wreck Diver™.
Although the benefits for Lieutenants are the same as for Midshipmen, Lieutenants get the satisfaction of providing more support to the Society, and, like all levels of membership, the Lieutenant level is open to anyone.
